Meet Drake Coleman

Hi, I’m Drake Coleman, a counselor, coach, and fitness instructor based in Colorado. I hold a Master’s in Counseling and dual undergraduate degrees in Religious Studies and Psychology, which together shaped my understanding of how people find meaning, balance, and resilience through both introspection and action.

In all my work—as a counselor, coach, and group fitness instructor—I focus on helping people strengthen the connection between mind and body. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Brainspotting, alongside mindfulness and yoga-informed practices. These methods allow clients to develop insight, emotional regulation, and embodied awareness—skills that extend far beyond the therapy room.

Before becoming a counselor, I spent several years teaching yoga, Lagree, and fitness, and I continue to value physical movement as a gateway to emotional healing and self-discovery. This background informs the somatic and mindfulness-based techniques I use in therapy, helping clients learn how stress, trauma, and thought patterns show up in the body—and how to release and reframe them.

My goal is to create a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and authentic. Whether you’re working through anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions, my aim is to help you build tools that foster clarity, stability, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself.

Outside of my professional work, I spend time exercising, skiing, spending time with my dog Margo, traveling, playing games with friends, seeing live music, and spending time with family in Texas. These experiences keep me connected, balanced, and curious—the same qualities I aim to help clients rediscover in their own lives.
